It reads the vaccination card from a photo and lets you know well ahead when a vaccine or deworming is due.

Our story
Batam, Shelter and Tory are our family.
We’re Eugenia and Pedro, from Argentina. Batam came first: the son of Eugenia’s parents’ dogs. Then came Shelter, and with the two of them we moved to Germany. From there we came to Spain, where Tory joined us.
With every move, everything changed: the country, the language, the clinic, the vaccination schedule. The one thing that didn’t change was what matters: the time with them and everything they teach us. That’s why we built Chief of Sniff: so that vaccines, appointments and phone calls don’t take a single minute away from them. Or from you.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to install an app?
No. Chief lives in WhatsApp. Your number is your account, no passwords.
How does it know what my pet is due?
You send a photo of the vaccination card and Chief reads it: it understands cards in Spanish, Catalan, English, French or German, and knows that a combination vaccine covers several diseases. From that it works out when each one is due. The rest comes from your pet’s age and breed, where you live and what you tell Chief about their habits.
How does it book the appointment, step by step?
It asks you for two or three time slots that suit you (or uses the ones it already has saved). It calls or messages the provider through whichever channel they use, introducing itself as your assistant. It matches their availability with your slots; if nothing fits, it comes back to you with what’s available. It confirms the date, time, address and what to bring, and reminds you the day before and two hours before.
What if there’s no slot when it suits me?
It comes back to you with what the provider offers and you decide. It never books anything you haven’t confirmed.
Which pets does it cover?
Any pet that goes to the clinic, the groomer or daycare: dogs, cats and others. Up to 4 per household.
Is Chief a vet?
No, and it doesn’t pretend to be. It answers questions about care, but it doesn’t diagnose. At any warning sign it sends you to the clinic, and if it’s urgent it helps you find emergency care nearby.
Does it buy things for me?
Not yet. That’s next: comparing parasite treatments or food and sending you the link so you can pay yourself, and preparing your insurance claim.
What happens to my data?
We keep what’s needed to look after your pet: their profile, vaccination card and appointments, on servers in the European Union. We only use it to provide the service; we don’t sell it or share it for advertising. You can ask for a copy, or for us to delete everything, with one message. More in the privacy policy.
How do I pay and how do I cancel?
The first month is free and we don’t ask for a card to start. After that you pay by card through a secure link in the chat. You can cancel any time, with no minimum term, and we’ll send you the full record.
